I have a Brita water filter and I followed the instructions when I opened the filter and soak for 15 minutes and I was filtering water for a few months now. I need to keep it soaked in water all the time now?
You can always check their website or call the company to be ascertain whether or not .. but I keep mine moist 24 / 7 and I have no problem with mine at all. Makes Me Wonder, but if you're right.
