If you have shopped around for Dell laptop batteries, you know that this one is WAY cheaper than the one that Dell sells directly. My original Dell battery only lasted 2 years so why would I go to Dell and pay $150 for a replacement when I could get a no-frills brand battery for only $28 including shipping? Even if this no-frills battery only lasts me 6 months, I am still way ahead of the game. OK, I will come down from my soapbox and tell you that this $28 battery fit perfectly into our Dell laptop, and performs well. After a full charge, it runs the laptop for many hours before needing a recharge. Even at $100, this would be a great deal. At $28, this is a no-brainer. I recommend this battery for anyone who needs a replacement or spare battery for thier Dell laptop.
Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop will not charge?
I have had a Dell Inspiron 1545 since April of 2009. just recently the laptop stopped charging and pops up with a message when i plug the laptop in. i am using the original ac power adapter that came with the laptop (Dell 65W).
The Battery might be dead so it only works on the cord. that happened to my inspiron 1526, ask geek squad or some other tech support about getting a new battery.
